Ann Katherine "Nan" Monnelly, age 80, of Villas passed away peacefully Monday, June 24, 2013 at her home. She was born November 26, 1932 in Crossmolina, County Mayo, Ireland. Ann formerly lived in Philadelphia from 1954 to 1986; and has been a Cape May area resident for 28 years. She is the daughter of the late John and the late Catherine (Coyle) Monnelly. Ann was employed by Showboat Casino, Atlantic City, NJ as a Waitress; and prior to that she was a Stouffer Girl. She is survived by her brothers Philip and Tom, and her cousin and dearest friend Anna Coyle. Friends are invited to celebrate her life at a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at the Parish of St John Neumann, St Raymod's RC Church, Ocean & Bayshore Rd, Villas, NJ 08251; where friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will take place in her native Ireland at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in Ann's memory to the Holy Redeemer Hospice, 1801 Route 9, Swainton, NJ 08210.
