So very sorry to hear of Betty's passing. She definitely was one of the fond memories i have of West Wildwood. She was always very nice to Alan myself and our children, and her cakes were the BEST!!!!

We were both very saddened to hear of Betty's passing. She always had a smile on her face and was always willing to help with anything you needed. Even though we are not year round neighbors, we always looked forward to talking with Betty when we were at the shore. We both send our deepest condolences to Betty's family.

Your beloved wife, mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother touched so many lives during her journey on this earth. She was truly one of God's very special people, loved by everyone who was blessed to know her. When Betty and Carl moved to West Wildwood, we immediately became friends. My parents and I loved seeing her pushing the baby stroller past our home and always stopping to chat. Her smile could be seen a block away, and her laughter was contagious! Oh, how she loved her Carl and their boys.
Many a birthday cake and other delicious treats came from Betty's "Piece of Cake" and her home kitchen!! Generations of our family LOVED Betty and everything about her that made her so very special!!
I am at my daughter's in DE now, and will not be able to attend her Mass, but please know that she and all of you will be in my thoughts and prayers. Please repeat what I said to end my Dad's eulogy: "I will not say goodbye, just until we meet again." Surely, Betty will be there waiting when we all reach our own heavenly reward.

Dear O'Hala Family:
My heartfelt condolences on the passing of Betty. I worked with her at Cape May Tech for the past 15 years on Thursday evenings when Betty taught Baking class. It was a privilege to work with Betty. She always came to work with positive energy and a willingness to share her talent with the students. Her personal contributions to the success of the program will never be forgotten. Baking was always one of my favorite classes to visit because Betty was there, the students loved her and it was fun! Please know I will miss her personally and our school will miss her dedication and spirit.
With deepest sympathy,
Alicia Arnold, Adm. Assistant
Evening & Continuing Education, Cape May County Technical School

I first met Betty about 20 years ago to suggest offering Aflac insurance to the town employees, she was always open to suggestions and a true lady in every respect. I had lived in West Wildwood for 20 years and knew some of the employees. It was always a pleasure to be in her company. We could use more people like her in this world. God Bless
