Greg Lewbart posted a condolence

Hello Mike's Family,
My name is Greg Lewbart, and in the summer of 1981, I worked with Mike in the bakery as a donut finisher. These were fun times and I really enjoyed my late nights working with Mike and establishing a friendship.
I had been thinking of him and just went on line to see what he was up to, and, learned the very sad news of his passing.
My thoughts are with you, and, please know he had a very positive and fun influence on my life.
Sincerely,
Greg Lewbart

Good day, my name is Clate Motloba from South Africa I met Mike in 2002, when I came to persue my studies in the U.S, I was a student when he employed me at the bakery, always told me I was the best employee he's ever had, cleaning up the place and eventually tought me a few things regarding baking, Im currently back in South Africa, however, my spirit kept bothering me about trying to contact him, hence I ended up on this site.
Im deeply saddened by these news, may his soul rest in peace, Hope and praying that God be with his wife Lynda and kids, Kirsten and Ryan. I thank God to have met a wonderful person like Mike .... Lynda please be strong and hold on to God's unchanging hand, peace be with you!!

My wife Lisa and I want to express our deepest sympathy and condolences to Lynnda, Kirsten, Ryan, Mr. and Mrs. Riederer, Ellie, Regina, Matt, and all Mike's family.
Dude Man, forty-five years ago we met each other playing neighborhood sports in Holland, and we became best friends through high school; we worked together at Roy Rogers and other entrepreneurial ventures; we served as each other's best man when we got married, and remained close friends throughout our adult life. I enjoyed our talks, our laughs, and whatever antics we shared. I was so lucky to have you as my friend.
I'm really going to miss our annual birthday phone calls, but most of all I am going to miss you.
Rest in Peace Dude,
Mark

Daddy,
Life as we know it is over. No holidays, events, day, or night will ever be the same. Without you our family is incomplete, broken, missing someone so important.
What a luxury it is for people to hold their loved ones whenever they want now that is gone. I can't hold you, hug or kiss you, or tell you I love.
You were that person that everyone loved and always wanted to be around. Anytime someone met or got to know you they were forever changed. You were so funny and happy. You said, I will always be your little girl and I promise that will never change.
I just keep hoping this is a nightmare I am going to wake up from and I will be able to see your smiling face and give you a big hug like I always did. I miss you so much Daddy, and I know this will never get easier for me. Not a second of any day will ever go by that I will not think of you wishing you were here.
Love forever your little girl,
Kir
PS, Please come back I need you.

Mike and I became acquainted through a common interest, hockey. We became teammates and friends for what seemed a long, good time, in retrospect too short a time. He was a great athlete, and loved and appreciated by me and our fellow teammates. He was loved more than he may have known. We love you Mike!

Lynnda, please accept our deepest, heartfelt condolences on your loss. I have so many great memories of times i spent with Mike and our group of friends when we were growing up, attending Council Rock HS, playing hockey, going to classes together, working together at Roy Rogers restaurant at Neshaminy Mall, and just hanging out together in general. Mike was a great friend and part of so many of my memories; we always had a lot of good times together. I even remember playing little league baseball with Mike at Far Northeast AA when we were kids in grade school in Philly. I regret that we were not able to stay in touch more regularly over the years, but I remember when we attended our 10 year high school reunion with you & Mike, myself and my wife, Donna, and Mark and Lisa, and what a great time we had.
I will always remember Mike as a hard worker, a gifted and competitive athlete ( I never beat him at golf), and a loyal friend. I plan to attend the services this week and will keep you and your family in my prayers.

My deepest condolences to the Riederer family for this tremendous loss. May the words found at Isaiah 26:19 bring you comfort in knowing that you will one day see Michael again.
Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will live. My corpses will rise up. Awake and shout joyfully, You residents in the dust! For your dew is as the dew of the morning, And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life"

We will always remember Mike delivering our baked goods when we owned Zoe's, it was always a great way to start the day. We would complain to each other about how hard we were working. We really admired his work ethic and enjoyed his friendship. He will be missed, our thoughts and prayers go out to this family.
