Obituary of Catherine S York

Catherine S "Cathy Sue" York, age 62, of Villas passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 6, 2017 with her family by her side at home in Villas. Catherine was born March 6, 1955 in Philadelphia, PA; formerly lived in the Frankford Section of Philly; and has been a Cape May area resident since 1995. She is the daughter of the late James Wyckoff and Janet (Gallagher) Wyckoff-Kipp. Cathy worked in the Banking Industry for 30 years and was last employed by Sturdy Savings Bank of Wildwood Crest, NJ as a Head Teller. She enjoyed bowling and attending professional wrestling. Cathy was an active volunteer with the Coast Guard Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her father James C Wyckoff; her step father Vincent Kipp; her brother James Wyckoff; and her sister Janet Wyckoff. Cathy is survived by her husband Francis G "Greg" York of Villas; her son Gregory (Cathy) York of Port Norris, NJ; her mother Janet (Gallagher) Kipp; and her brother John Wyckoff. There will be a funeral service at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Green Creek United Methodist, Route 47 North, Green Creek, NJ 08219; where friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
