Rita M Beason, age 53, of Erma passed away suddenly Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at Cape Regional Med. Center. Rita was born in Philadelphia, PA; but was a life-long Cape May area resident. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant at Crest Haven Nursing Home. She was a "mother' to the entire community and especially enjoyed helping to raise her grandchildren. Rita was preceded in death by her son John Beason. She is survived by her husband John C Beason; her children: Benjamin Beason, Rick Beason, & Missy Beason; three grandchildren: Johnathan Beason, Kylan Melendez, & Kali Jordan; and six siblings: Robert Sands, Joseph Knowles, Delores Spyropoulos, Betsy O'Neill, Bernadette Backel, & Hannah Mannis. There will be a memorial service at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 2:00 to 3:00 PM.
