Thomas Joseph Snyder, age 79, of Villas, passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at his home. Thomas was born in Philadelphia, formerly lived on South Philly, and has been a Cape May area resident for 30 years. He is the son of the late Thomas A and the late Evelyn E (nee Burke) Snyder. Tom was a driver for the fare Free Transportation of Cape May County for 12 years. He served his country in the US Army, was a member of the Pennsylvania Masonic Lodge #2 of F&AM, and he enjoyed wood carving and working with stain glass. Tom is survived by his wife of 58 years Dorothy (nee Bilbrough) Snyder and his three children: Thomas (Elizabeth Snyder, Donna Snyder (Mike), and Kevin (Maryann) Snyder. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
