Myers, Timothy L. "Timmy", age 59, of Del Haven passed away unexpectedly on March 22, 2017. Tim is survived by his beloved wife Wendy; his children: Christian, Gregory, Marissa and his step-son Tyler (Vitola); and his brothers: Leroy Edward & his wife Sandi Myers and Robert James & his wife Darlene Myers. He was preceded in death by his eldest brother Ronnie Myers. Tim was born on January 10th, 1958 in Philipsburg, PA. He was a 1983 graduate of Lock Haven University with a degree in Elementary Education. Tim was a part of the fraternity Kappa Delta Rho, where he forged lifelong friendships and brotherhood. He also attended Glassboro State College where he completed course work in Special Education for his state certification. Tim served in the United States Air National Guard for 12 years in the security police unit with the 177th Fighter Wing. Known as Mr. Tim by his students at Cape May County Special Services, where he dedicated 32 years of his life impacting his fellow co-workers and students. Tim was also an assistant wrestling coach at Richard M Teitelman Middle School for several years in the late 80's and later continued to support his nephews throughout their high school careers. He came from a wrestling family and loved the Penn State Nittany Lions where he and his wife attended numerous matches. Tim enjoyed vacationing in the Florida Keys, fishing and anything to do with the sun and water. His greatest joys in life were his children and his wife. He was a man's man who loved his adopted black lab "Tucker". He always had kind words to say about those around him. Tim will be sorely missed by his family, friends, co-workers, and students. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at the Parish of St John Neumann, St John of God RC Church, 680 Townbank Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204 at 11:00 AM.
