Obituary of Laurie Larock Waugh

Laurie L Waugh, age 69, of North Cape May passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Cape Regional Medical Center of Cape May Court House, NJ. Laurie was born in Newark, NJ; grew up in nearby Belleville, NJ; and has resided in North Cape May since 2010. She was devoutly committed to church activities since accepting Christ as her Savior as a teenager. Laurie was most recently a member of the Cape May Lutheran Church where she played the music for the Saturday evening services. She worked as a teacher's aide, a homemaker-home health aide, and membership director at the Metuchen YMCA. A life-long cat lover, she raised and bred cats, participating in many cat shows around the country. Laurie is survived by her husband, Joseph Brower of North Cape May, several cousins, many friends, and her cats. There will be a viewing from 7:00 to 9:00 PM on Monday, March 27, 2017 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at the Cape May Lutheran Church, 509 Pittsburgh Ave, Cape May, NJ 08204 with visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
