Obituary of Rose Della Crowther

Rose Della Crowther, age 96, of North Cape May died Saturday, June 15, 2013 She was born in, raised and a lifelong resident of Gloucester City, NJ before coming to Cape May 13 years ago. . Rose was a loving wife , mother, grandmother , great-grandmother and a child of God. She was a faithful member of St Mary's Church in Gloucester City where she served on the PTA and the Catholic Daughter's for 50 years. She also served on the Ladies Auxiliary of Gloucester Heights Fire Dept. Rose accepted what God sent her with grace. Rose was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years William F. Crowther (1964). She was the mother of Rose Marie Cartwright of N. Cape May and her children Patricia (deceased), Donna and Michael (Kimberly) and their son Justin, Her son, William Franklin Crowther (Frieda) of Berlin, NJ and their children Michael (Maryanne), Debbie and Susie (deceased) and a son, James Joseph Crowther (Ilana) of N. Cape May and their children Bill (Denise), Albert (Beth) and James (Allison) and their daughter Abigail Rose. Rose was also preceded in death by her brothers James and John Hagan and sisters Marie Jenkins and Winnie Godala. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 am on Monday, June 24, 2013 at St John. Neumann Parish @ St John Of God RC Church, 680 Townbank Rd, North Cape May, NJ where relatives friends may call from 10 to 11 am Private Burial will be held at New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr, NJ.
