Mrs. Band and The (extended) Band Family,
Sincere condolences from the Parkers!
What we see is not permanent and there is little more we can ask for than a life of fulfillment, a good family to carry on, and to leave this world in dignity. Mrs. Band (Mom) will always be special to us as she and her husband mirrored my families life. She, like my Mother, supported her husband (family) during military service and during our service to the nation in various diplomatic capacities. Sophisticated and eloquent, she would pull the practical joke on friends and family in an instant! She loved her grandchildren and for awhile I thought they all actually lived in her home! She saved my/our CMBP bacon on any number of occasions and I remember a few young Merchant Marine chaps in the foyer on their faces also under her protection. She will be missed but will be remembered and respected! Respectfully, Bunky, Carol, Lindsey, and Chris.
