Katharine M (Sweeney) Loiseau, age 83, of North Cape May passed away peacefully and joined her husband Martin J Loiseau Friday, February 24, 2017. Katharine was born November 4, 1933 in Philadelphia, PA; formerly lived in the Kensington Section of Philly; and has been a Cape May area resident for 8 years. She is the daughter of the late James and the late Catherine (Feduniue) Sweeney. Katharine was a former member of St Boniface Parish in the Kensington Section of Philadelphia. She truly enjoyed spending time with her family. Katharine was preceded in death by her daughter Sharon Waddington, and her brother James Sweeney. She is survived by two daughters: Katharine (James) Wilson & Michelle Loiseau; three sons: Martin (Patricia) Loiseau, Stephen (Christine) Loiseau, & Gary (Jennifer) Loiseau; and her son-in-law Anthony Waddington. Also surviving are her brothers: Richard (Jacqueline) Sweeny & Nicholas (Roseanne) Sweeney, 15 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren. There will be a funeral service at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.
