Patricia R. Burke, age 82, of Villas passed away suddenly, February 21, 2017 at Cape Regional Medical Center. Patricia was born in Philadelphia, PA; summered here for over 25 years; and has been a full time Cape May area resident since 1990. She is the daughter of the late Vincent and the late Catherine (Boyle) Hayes. Patricia was a member of St Raymond's RC Church in Villas. She was preceded in death by her daughter Joan Barnum and her brother Patrick Hayes. Patricia is survived by her husband Joseph Burke; her two sons: Patrick (Paula) McCabe & Paul (Denise) Burke; one daughter: Patty Ann (Frank) Cacciola; 8 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. Also surviving are her 5 sisters: Margaret Morrison, Rosie Tomlinson, Betty Jane Kerns, Alice McCabe, and Catherine Quigley. A joint Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Patricia and Joseph Burke at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at St. John Neumann Parish/ St. John of God Church, 680 Townbank Rd, N. Cape May. Relatives and friends may call Thursday morning from 9:00-10:30 AM at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Road, N. Cape May. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Cold Spring.
