Florence C. Finch, age 98, of N. Cape May died Thursday, February 16, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.. Florence was born July 11, 1918 in Houston, DE. She resided in Middletown, DE before moving to N. Cape May in 1991. Florence retired from the Middletown School District as a bus operator. She was a member of the Gardening By the Sea Club of Lower Twp and was an active member of the 1st United Methodist Church of Cape May. She was married to the late Richard W. Finch who died in 2010. She was also predeceased by her children, David Holzknecht in 1985, Brenda Fernandas in 2013; and sister, Rosanna Messick.
She is survived by a daughter; Deborah Holzknecht of N. Cape May, grandson, Luke Holzknecht and a great-granddaughter Raine Holzknecht.. Friends may call Wednesday, February 22, 2017 from 10 to 11 am at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd., N. Cape May. A Graveside Service will follow at the Cape May County Veterans Cemetery, Cape May Court House. Condolences will be received at www.evoyfuneralhome.com.
