Lorna Mildred Griffith Creamer April 22, 1929 - June 6, 2013 Lorna Creamer peacefully passed away on June 6, 2013 with compassion and care from family, the staff of Victoria Commons and Grace Hospice. Lorna was predeceased by her parents Clifford and Gertrude Griffith, her brother Cliff and sister Mary, her husband Alan and daughter Marilyn. She is survived by her sister Gloria (the other half of the "Griffith Girls"), son Alan Jr, daughter Patricia and son-in-laws William Monthaven and Rev. Douglas Madden. She was the proud grandmother of Rebecca, Nicole, Liam and Maureen, four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Lorna was born in St. Louis, MO and moved with her family to Ridley Park, PA when she was young. She has been a life-long Presbyterian, recently joining the Cold Spring Presbyterian Church. While singing in the choir she was spotted by Alan Creamer, who promptly joined and they married in 1948. She love animals, to golf and play bridge and spend as much time at the Jersey shore as she could. She was thrilled to come to Cape May for good in 2011. The "Griffith Girls" were reunited recently when her sister Gloria came from Marblehead, Mass for a visit. She was thrilled to see her sister again. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at Victoria Commons, 610 Townbank Rd. N. Cape May on Friday, June 14th at 3:00PM. Lorna will be laid to rest with her husband this fall at Valley Forge Memorial Gardens. Gifts in memoriam of Lorna can be made to the deacons of The Cold Spring Presbyterian Church or Grace Hospice.
