John G. "Sox" Ricker, age 70, of Villas passed away Friday, February 3, 2017 at Victoria Manor of North Cape May, NJ. John was born April 18, 1946 in Philadelphia, PA. He is the son of the late Alvin and the late Catherine (Smith) Ricker. John was employed by Midvale Steel of Philadelphia, PA. He was the loving father of Kathleen "Kathy"; the devoted grandfather of Eric, Justin, Ryan, and Shawn; and the great grandfather of Emma. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, and cousins. There will be a Memorial Mass at 10:00 AM on Friday, February 10, 2017 at Our Lady of Mt Carmel RC Church, 2319 South 3rd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19148.
