Tracy knew me through my ex-husband Ted McPherson. My Daughter Leslie, worked with her at the State park. It was my privilege to have known her as she was always very friendly towards me when I visited the park. We had the opportunity to go out for a couple of state park dinner get together. I will miss her laugh.

Tracy had a profound positive affect on my life as I worked with her at Cape May Point State Park from 1988 to 2003. I was so sad to hear of her passing, but glad I had a nice visit with her about a year or so ago. I was truly inspired and impressed with Tracy's knowledge and passion for the park and the thousands of visitors she served. The fond memories I have of Tracy will be firmly etched in my mind for the rest of my life and as I think of her from time to time, a smile and warm feeling will come to me. I look forward to going home to Jesus one day and I am sure I will see Tracy there. My love and sincere sympathy are with all her family and friends.

Just as the Monarchs she so cherished and nurtured at the park office, I grew and matured and became ready to do my job well under her gentle kind and honest tutelage. I am so grateful for her guidance, her friendship and her vast wisdom of all things related to the area and its people.....she may not have been born here.....but she was more local then some born and raised here from birth.....my opinion anyway.
Since her retirement it has been a constant flow of visitors who have seen Tracy as an Ikon of the state park for many years and yes many shed tears when they found out she will not be working at the park anymore......Tracy was So quick with both a winning smile and infectious laugh she embodied all the wonderful beautiful qualities of a true steward of the environment and a champion for it and all who felt they were not being treated fairly she was always a champion for the underdog.....I Loved that about her......I shall miss our mornings, me with my coffee and her with her newspaper reading the headlines. The silence is deafening in the office since her retirement......her laugh still echos.......and with each monarchs wing beat I shall know her angel wings are monarch orange and black......You reside in my heart forever Tracy.............The world has lost a great great loving spirit.....and I personally lost a good friend and kindred sister of the heart.....she shall live on in the legacy she has left at Cape May Point State Park......it is what it is today because she and others grew it from a dirt parking lot to what it has become One of the Crown Jewels of the state park service. Thank you Tracy for you service and thank you for making my life richer by having you in it.
To the family: I pray that God will surround you all with his comforting
light. I pray that your hearts will heal from this great sorrow and pain.....as a mother, I can empathize with you........no mother should have to bury one of their children, ((((((((((hugs)))))))))) words can not express the profound loss you must feel.....and no words can take away the pain.....just know that those who are left behind. Are still here and are hurting along with you......hold each other tighter now let your shared pain give you strength to face this diffecult time and grow stronger by it both personally and as a family and extended family. It is what Tracy would want......she never wanted folks to worry about her......she always worried about everyone else....that's our Tracy......She was greatly loved by all who knew her.

My deepest sympathies to everyone who so loved Tracy. We lost sadly lost touch some years ago but she was one of the most funny and caring people.
She and I would sit and talk for hours and laugh til our sides hurt.
