Obituary of Paul Daniele

Paul Daniele, age 74, of Rio Grande passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at AtlantiCare Medical Center of Galloway Township, NJ. Paul was born on May 27, 1942 in Carlstadt, NJ. He also resided in Elizabeth, NJ; before moving to the Cape May area in 1991. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Dominic and Jennie (Pascale) Daniele. Paul was a 1968 graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University and retired from Lockheed Martin where he worked as a Quality Assurance Engineer for 31 years. He was a member of Our Lady of Angels RC Church where he was a Eucharistic Minister and a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 12184. Paul was a sports enthusiast with a love for the New York Yankees and New York Giants and was a basketball coach for his son's youth team at Immaculate Conception School in Elizabeth from 1982 to 1984. Paul is pre-deceased by his brother Dominick Daniele and sister-in-law Roberta "Bert" Daniele. He is survived by his loving wife Karren Daniele (Smith) of 48 years, his son Christopher and daughter-in-law Kimberly Daniele (Hughes), brother Ray Daniele (Bert), sister-in-law Carolyn Daniele (Dom), sister-in-law Cathy Karczewski (Steve), brother-in-law Jack Smith (Flora), 8 nieces and nephews, numerous cousins, family members, and friends. He will be missed by his two cats, Callie and Ozzy. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Angels RC Church, 35 E Mechanic St, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210; where friends and relatives will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
