William O. Frankenfield, age 74, formerly of Stone Harbor, NJ, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2016 at his home in Rotterdam, Holland. William was born November 25, 1941 in Philadelphia, PA and was raised in Stone Harbor, NJ. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War as a Medic. William was a Registered Nurse for 25 years. He retired from Flagler Hospital in St Augustine, FL. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Regina (Van de Laar) Frankenfield; his son William (Wanda Soto-) Frankenfield of Rio Grande, NJ; and his daughter Anna Jennifer Frankenfield of Dover, DE. Also surviving are: his brother Robert (Linda) Frankenfield; his sister Virginia (Gordon) Burlingame; 3 step grandchildren: Rene, Joshua, & Rafael; 3 step great grandchildren: Bella, Adalena, & Angelo; and numerous nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter Raye Elizabeth Frankenfield. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at St Brendan the Navigator/Church of St Paul, 9910 3rd Ave, Stone Harbor, NJ; where friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Cold Spring Cemetery, 780 Seashore Rd, Cold Spring, NJ 08204.
