Carter, Charles C (Boe), age 86, of Villas passed away on Monday, June 3, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Formerly of South Philadelphia; Charles has been a Cape May area resident for 18 years. He served his country entering the Korean Conflict 9/19/1950 in the US Army. He also served in the US Air Force enlisting 9/01/1956. Charles worked for the US Postal Service for many years in the Philadelphia area. He was a co-owner of the Clown Club of South Philly. Charles was the beloved son of the late Charles & Emma Carter. He was preceded in death by his loving sister Helen. Charles is survived by his loving sisters: Myrtle of Villas, NJ and Dorothy of Mt Ephraim, NJ. He was a wonderful, kind, and generous uncle to his many nieces and nephews; and a God Father to George Ulmer, Jr., Becky DiRuocco, and Kevin Ulmer. There will be a viewing from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204. A funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, 733 Ridge Rd, Sellersville, PA. Interment will follow the service at the Jerusalem Union Cemetery. The family suggests donations in Charles' memory to the Holy Redeemer Hospice, 1801 Route 9 North, Swainton, NJ 08210.
