I am sorry for his passing. I served with him on the USS Pursuit in 58 and 59. He was a great great guy and taught me a lot.

My sincere sympathy to you and your dear love ones. May you find comfort in these words- 1 Corinthians 1:3 Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God. The comfort God gives is that those sleeping in God's memory will be awaken here on earth-John 5:28-29. God made hope for the dead possible by sending his Son to die for us. So the resurrection tells us about Jehovah's love and undeserve kindness.

It was my privilege to have worked with Guy for more than 20 years. He always represented the highest standards of his profession and service to the public. Always a “hands-on” administrator, he shepherded our school through many difficult times consistently instilling calmness and optimism. We have lost a true friend, but we can continue to celebrate his formidable legacy.
