Ann R Wilson, age 83, of Pasadena, MD (formerly of the Cape May area) passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 13, 2016 surrounded by her family that Ann has touched in such an extraordinary way throughout her entire life. Ann was born August 24, 1933 in Boston, MA. She is the daughter of the late Wilfred and the late Anne (Smith) Roberts. She was the oldest child of 4 siblings: Joan, Barbara, Kathy, & Wilfred. Ann graduated from college in Fullerton, CA with a degree in Accounting. Ann joined the US Air Force in 1953 and received a National Defense Service Medal. While in the Air Force, Ann put her sister Joan through college. Ann married Walter Wilson, Jr. on August 23, 1954. She was an active member of the LDS Church and served in many church positions including Relief Society President, Primary President, and as a Primary Teacher. Ann was an advocate for taking in handicap/disabled children. She was the mother of 9 children: Terry Ann Hinsdale, Debbie Mae Hausman, Cheryl Lynn Crammer, Walter Wilson, III, Michael Everett Wilson, Dwayne Howard Wilson (deceased), Ronald Wayne Wilson, Sharon Lee Stalford, & Jennifer Marie Wilson. Also surviving are 29 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandson. Ann was preceded in death by her son Dwayne Wilson in 2000, her granddaughter Stacy Lynn Wilson in 1990, and her grandson Dwayne Wilson, Jr. There will be a funeral service at 11:30 AM on Monday, December 19, 2016 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 803 Hand Ave, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210; where friends will be received from 10:30 to 11:30 AM.
