Bernard F "Bernie" Pease, age 58, of Villas passed away Sunday, December 4, 2016 at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center of Philadelphia, PA. Bernie was born July 15, 1958 in Abington, PA; formerly lived in North East Philadelphia, PA; and has been a Cape May area resident since 2002. He is the son of the late Bernard F. and the late Helen E (Zakreski) Pease. Bernie was employed by the MAC Center at the Physick Estate in Cape May, NJ as a Computer Technician. He enjoyed coaching, watching local sports (especially his grandchildren's sports teams), and spending time with family. Bernie was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Mary Catherine Kennedy. He is survived by his wife Ann (nee O'Malley) Pease and his children: Ken Haungs, Andrew Haungs, & Ryan Haungs. Also surviving are his brothers: Mickey Pease, Chris Pease, Matt Pease & Dan Pease; his sister Jennifer Carfagno; and his grandchildren: Kenny, Olivia, & Gabe Haungs. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, December 9, 2016 at Notre Dame De La Mer Parish/ St. Ann Church, 2901 Atlantic Avenue, Wildwood, NJ; where friends will be received from 8:00 to 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Clermont, NJ 08210. The family suggests donations in Bernie's memory to Susan G Komen Cancer Foundation, PO Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265-0309.
