Chester J Czescik, age 75, of North Cape May died Friday, October 28, 2016 at the North Cape Center Chester was born January 7, 1941 in Philadelphia to the late Chester D. and Mary (Obiedjzinski) Czescik. Chester was a Philadelphia Firefighter for 30 years which were spent at Engine 25, Boudinot and Hart Lane. He was a member of the Firefighters Union of Philadelphia IAFF Local #22. Chester was preceded in death by his sister Dorothy (Matthew) Masiejczyk. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Mary Lou (nee McGuigan) Czescik; three children, Daniel Czescik, Barbara (Mark) Benner and Chester M. Czescik; two grandchildren, Brittany Lauren Benner and Mark Benner Jr.. He also leaves a brother in-law James (Peg) McMunn, nephews James and Christian Mc Munn and a niece Meghan Vierra. A visitation will be held from 10 to 11 AM on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at the St. John Neumann Parish- St John of God Church, 680 Townbank Road, N. Cape May, NJ and will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Burial will be held 11:00 AM on Thursday at St. Dominic Cemetery, Philadelphia.
