Obituary of Elizabeth L Lippincott

Elizabeth L Lippincott, age 87, of Cape May passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at Victoria Manor of North Cape May. Elizabeth was born July 30, 1929 to Andrew & Margaret Toth, who came from Budapest Hungary. She grew up on a farm in Pittstown, NJ with 10 brothers and sisters. Her only surviving sister is Cathy Wilson (83) of Glen Gardner, NJ. Elizabeth married Eugene "Nubby" Lippincott of Milford, NJ and settled in the quaint little town of Riegelsville, PA to raise her two surviving sons Thomas & Eugene "Buddy" Lippincott. She worked for a home health care agency for many years and took pride in her cooking and caring for the elderly in their own homes. From her childhood years on the farm, she developed a strong love for birds and animals. She loved flower gardens and especially enjoyed growing flowers that would bring in her precious hummingbirds. In 2006 Elizabeth moved to Cape May, NJ with her beloved Pomeranian "Mitsy" to be near her oldest son Thomas and his family. Elizabeth is also survived by two daughters-in-law: Mary "Cookie" Lippincott & Cindy Lippincott; two loving granddaughters and their husbands: Kim & Paul Davis of Fredrick, Maryland and Kelly & Lance Bowman of Ocean View, NJ; two grandsons: Travis Lippincott and Wyatt Lippincott (Jennifer Johnson) of Riegelsville, PA; and four great grandsons: Colin & Chase Bowman and Caden & Cashus Lippincott.
