Edilia C Kagamakos, age 95, of N Cape May passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at North Cape Center. Edilia was born May 23, 1921 in S Pier D-Isonzo, Italy; came to the US in the late 1940's; and has been a Cape May area resident since 1964. She is the daughter of the late Guiseppe and the late Carmela Dorigatti. Edilia was a member of the Parish of St John Neumann, was a member of the Holy Rosary Society, volunteered her time with the Boy Scouts, and worked at the bingo sessions. She enjoyed designing and making clothing, and regularly attended the Millman Senior Citizen's Center. Edilia was preceded in death by her husband Petro Kagamakos in 1994. She is survived by one daughter Paula (Robert) Vanaman of N Cape May, NJ; her grandson Robert (Laurie) E Vanaman III, and her two great-grandchildren: Michael Vanaman & Matthew Vanaman. Also surviving is her sister Lida Zanolla of Venice, Italy; There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at the Parish of St John Neumann, St John of God RC Church, 680 Townbank Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
