Angelica "Jean" Louise Thompson, age 83, of Villas passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at her home. Jean was born March 9, 1930 in Philadelphia, PA; and has been a Cape May area resident for 25 years. She is the daughter of the late Umberto and the late Carmella (Forte) Felix. Jean was a 1947 graduate of Germantown High School. She was employed by R&M Import/Export as a secretary and at Nana's Botique, both in the Chestnut Hill section of Philadelphia, PA. Jean was a member of the Parish of St John Neumann, St John of God RC Church, North Cape May, NJ. She is survived by her husband of 62 years Joseph Thompson; her son Steven (Beth) Thompson of Flourtown, PA; her daughter Patricia (Joe) Finsterbusch of Levittown, PA; and her daughter Ellen (Fred) Soglia of Flourtown, PA. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. There will be a funeral service at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 25, 2013 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Cape May County Veteran's Cemetery, 127 Crest Haven Rd, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.
