I am so sorry for your loss. Mr. Crawford was a teacher of mine in EHT. He was the nicest most sincere person and was always there to help if I needed it in class. He had such huge muscles and looked intimidating but his heart was even bigger. I saw him in Incollingos in EHC a couple of years ago and we talked and talked right in the middle of the isle and he remembered me from school. What an awesome guy! Rest In Peace Mr. Crawford. Thank you for your passion for teaching.

Dear Crawford Family,
I am sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Crawford, he had a positive effect on my daughter as on of her teachers at Hammonton Middle School . As she was going to college she had the opportunity to substitute teach at the middle school after her first day there she came home and was happy to say that Mr. Crawford was there and that they were able to discuss her education plans and give her his advice.
I also remember Mr. Crawford from when I was a young boy riding with my dad and picking him and his brother Dave up on the school bus to go to Oakcrest High School. On back to school night when my daughter had Mr. Crawford as a teacher I asked him if he where Daves brother and told him who I was, he was happy to hear this , the next day after school my daughter came home and said that Mr. Crawford was now referring to her as Hutch which she seemed to like and made her think of her grand father she never knew.
Once again I am sorry for your loss and for everyone else who knew Mr. Crawford.
May He Rest In Peace.
Sincerely,Thomas W. Hutchinson "Hutch"

I worked with Bruce starting at Caesars in 1980 & at Tropicana until he left. All I can say is he was THE most caring individual I have ever met, especially when it came to his family. He beamed with pride whenever he spoke about them. He truly was a special person whom I am proud to say was my friend. RIP 'Coach' and my prayers are with your family. Pete Mussa

On behalf of the entire Porter family, I would like to send our heartfelt condolences on the loss of your father, husband, coach and genuinely all-around incredible human being. I distinctly remember the relationship Coach Crawford had with my father Coach Bill Porter of Lower Cape May Regional High School, which was one of immense mutual respect. Coach Crawford was always willing to offer advice, even to those that were opponents on the wrestling mat. When I began coaching in 1995, Coach Crawford was always there to give me his infinite wisdom when we wrestled at Hammonton. I will be forever grateful for the way he treated my entire family. The wrestling community lost one of the great ones but heaven gained a warrior. God bless the entire Crawford family and may you rest in peace Coach.

As children, we spend almost as much time with our teachers as we do with our parents. It’s no wonder, then, that so many of us have vivid memories of our teachers that stick with us years later. We might not always remember the definition of a polynomial, but we remember the way a good teacher inspired us and influenced us. We remember the time they spent helping us get a difficult lesson just right, and the way they shaped our lives.
I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Crawford. He was the greatest teacher I ever had. He had a passion for the students that shined brightly and made you want to be the best student you could be. He was certainly a special person and I am a better person for having known him. Some of my fondest memories from school include the times I spent in his classes, including his Power Puff girl nickname for a few of us. His passion to teach was matched only by his compassion for his students.
Mr. Crawford will always hold a special place in my heart. I feel blessed and honored that he was a part of my life. Rest in Peace Mr. Crawford and thank you. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family, friends, and all those who knew him. God bless.
A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops. ~Henry Brooks Adams
