Pinkie and I are in disbelief that Gopher has exited this life. He graduated the Philadelphia Police Academy with my father. Although he was a lifelong friend to my mother-in-law he was the kind of person who made me feel as if I was a lifelong friend on the first occasion we ever met. I will miss him. Prayers and thoughts for all of you at this time of sadness.
