John J Green, age 64, of Del Haven passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at his home. John was born May 2, 1952 in Camden, NJ; formerly lived in Pine Hill, NJ; and has been a Cape May area resident for 15 years. He is the son of the late Joseph and the late Laura (Thomas) Green. John was employed by SEPTA of Philadelphia, Pa as a Mechanic for 27 years. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and boating. John is survived by his wife of 39 years: Margaret (Maguire) Green and one daughter: Kelly (Jamie) O'Connell. Also surviving are his two sisters: Joan Green & Laura Gross; and his three grandchildren: Jamie Jr., Jack, & Katherine. John was preceded in death by his sister Patricia and his brother Joseph. There will be a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 22, 2016 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
