I am so very sorry for your loss. Please find comfort in God's sure promise of a resurrection as set forth in the Bible. (Consider Acts 24:15; John 5:28,29) Those who are raised to life will have the prospect of never again being subjected to misery, sickness, or death. (Revelation 21:4) I hope that reflecting on these thoughts will give you some relief during this difficult time.

Bill and Linda, so sorry to hear of the passing of your dad. He was my first baseball coach. He taught us how to play and how to win. And I've loved the game my whole life. Deepest sympathy to you and your families.

Dear Billy, Linda and Family,
I am sorry to hear of Uncle Bill’s passing. I was sitting on the front porch with my Dad, who immediately broke down and cried. After sitting in silence, Dad said he was a good man, friend, and brother to him and Mom. It is unfortunate that some families grow apart in this crazy world … but no matter the distance, time or barrier (medical issues) … I know that Mom and Dad loved your Mom and Dad. Uncle Bill will always hold a special place in my heart for taking care of my parents and providing a sanctuary of peace through our family’s trials. Uncle Bill was always good for a laugh and a good story. My last visit with Uncle Bill, was an unannounced visit at his Downingtown Apartment, and as always was greeted by a smile and hours of catching up. He laughed and told stories of growing up with Mom. These stories are non-publishable. I will always remember Uncle Bill as caring, hard working, friendly, fun/playful, gentle, giving, kind, courageous, encouraging … just a good man. I know Mom and Uncle Bill are having the time of their life together again!
Sincere sympathy to you all -
Jimmy, Bev and Family

On behalf of all the members of the Narberth Fire Company I wish to extend our deepest condolences the the family of Bill Torchiana. It was my honor to run calls , and learn from, Bill during my earliest years with the company. He was, without a doubt, one of the finest drivers and operators that have every served with NFD and the generation he helped train still pass the knowledge gained from him to future generations of Narberth firefighters. If there is anything that we can do during this difficult time it would be our honor to do so. Please know you are all in our thoughts and prayers.
