Obituary of Harry T Tillotson, Sr.

Harry T Tillotson, Sr., age 82, of North Cape May passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at Absecon Manor of Absecon City, NJ. Harry was born October 31, 1933 in Wildwood, NJ and has been a life-long Cape May area resident. He is the son of the late James and the late Ruby (Turpen) Tillotson. He served his country in the US Navy. Harry was employed by Tredways in Vineland, NJ as a Truck Driver. Harry was active in the Boy Scouts serving as a Troop Leader for many years and as a Boy Scout Commissioner. He is survived by his wife of 60 years: Irene(Knipple) Tillotson; four daughters: Ellen (John) Schuster of CMCH, NJ, Kathy (Mike) Tillotson of Villas, NJ, Kelly Brady of Erma, NJ, & Jean Pennebaker of Philadelphia, PA; and two sons: Harry (Eileen) Tillotson, Jr. of Ocean City, NJ, & James (Nancy) W Tillotson of Middle Twp, NJ. He also leaves a daughter-in-law Renee Tillotson and fifteen grandchildren (3 that were raised by Harry & Irene: Corey Pennebaker, Drew Pennebaker, & Quintin Tillotson).
