Obituary of Edith May Smith

Edith May Smith, age 74, of Ocean View, formerly of Erma passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at the Autumn Lake Healthcare of Ocean View, Edith was born November 21, 1941 in North Wildwood, NJ. Edith had worked mostly in the banking industry in Cape May Co. and was proud of earning her Series 7 stockbrokers license. She was preceded in death by her parents William Crawford and Emily Marie (Tozer) Pritchard and her husband George R. Smith (1995). She is survived by a daughter, Tracey (James) Corlett of Erma, NJ and a son, George R Smith, Jr. (partner Sarah Friend and her children Silas and Sklar)of Underhill, Vermont. She also leaves 5 grandchildren, Emily, Faith and Noah Corlett and Carisa and Carter Smith; one great grandson, Joshua Pierce. A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Monday, May 9, 2016 at the Tabernacle U.M. Cemetery in Erma.
