Obituary of Andrew G Bloom

Andrew G Bloom, age 72, of N Cape May passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at his home. He formerly lived in Winslow, NJ and Junction, WV. Andrew owned and operated an auto repair shop in Philadelphia, PA most of his life. He was a member of St John Neumann Parish, St John of God RC Church in North Cape May. He had previously been a member of Epiphany RC Church of the Lord in Moorefield, WV. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 10011, Romney, WV, where he was a former Deputy Grand Knight. He is survived by his wife: Carole (Bigham) Bloom, two daughters: Dawn Bloom and Tracie (Mark) Bilder, one son: Andrew (Sheryl) George Bloom, Jr., and one sister: Barbara. He also leaves six grandchildren: Ryan, Andrew III, Joshua, Madison, Francis, and Zachary. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at the Parish of St John Neumann, St John of God RC Church, 680 Townbank Rd, N Cape May, NJ; where family and friends may call from 9:30 to 11:00 AM. Interment will be private. A memorial luncheon to celebrate Andy's life is being planned for the near future. A sign-up sheet will be available at the service or contact family for information.
