H. Ronald Kreh, PE, age 82, of West Chester, PA passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 16, 2016. He was a graduate of the University of Delaware. His career was with the US Army Corps of Engineers. Ronald started in 1955 and became Chief of Operations in 1978. He had legendary accomplishments with the public, Congress, and with inter-governmental task forces such as in Gabon, Africa. Ronald held board positions with the Delaware Port Authority and the World Dredging Association. He retired in 1993 after 37 years. Surviving are: Alberta Kreh; two sons: David (Cindy) Kreh & Steven (Susan) Kreh; and two daughters: Christina (Michael) Kelly & Linda Kreh. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren: Melissa, Steven, Jr., Danielle, Nicole, Sean, Krista, & Michael and 2 great grandchildren: Caleb & Micah. There will be a funeral service at 10:00 AM on Monday, March 21, 2016 at Chew Landing UM Church, 319 Black Horse Pike, Glendora, NJ 08029; where friends will be received from 9:00 to 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Northwood Cemetery, 1501 Haines St, Philadelphia, PA.
