Jane E Guckian, age 86, of Cape May Court House passed away Sunday, February 21, 2016 at Crest Haven Nursing Home. Jane was born July 11, 1929 in Passaic, NJ the daughter of the late Elizabeth (nee McNamara) and the late James S Guckian. She attended St. Nicholas Grammar School and studied at the Sisters of Charity Convent in Convent Station, NJ. Jane was a resident of Lakewood, NJ before moving to Crest Haven Nursing Home in 2000 to be closer to family. Despite a lifelong illness, she remained a devout Catholic, who lived a life of prayer and selfless giving to others. She is survived by her sister Alice Oleksiak of West Cape May, her niece Elizabeth "Betsy" Oleksiak of Villas, her nephew James "Jimi" Oleksiak of Martinsville, her niece Margaret (Charles) Oleksiak of West Cape May, and her niece Eileen (Jerry) Oleksiak-Hall of Erma. There will be a viewing from 10:00 to 11:00 AM on Friday, February 26, 2016 at the Parish of St John Neumann, St John of God RC Church, 680 Townbank Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204 with a Mass immediately following.
