Obituary of Wayne E Bigelow

Wayne E Bigelow, Jr., age 55, of Villas passed away Friday, February 19, 2016 at Cape Regional Medical Center following a long and hard fought battle with heart disease. Wayne was born in Philadelphia, PA; was formerly from Palatka, FL; and has been a Cape May area resident since January 2015. He is the son of Wayne E, Sr. and Alice B (nee Norris) Bigelow. Wayne was employed by Johnson Electric as an electrician. He enjoyed model trains, ceramics, and loved to build model ships. Wayne was very handy at everything. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Wayne is survived by his wife of 30 years: Denise (nee Gable) Bigelow; his son Jonathan Bigelow; his stepson Joseph Gable; and 5 grandchildren. Also surviving are his father Wayne E Bigelow, Sr.; his mother Alice B Bigelow; his sister Penny Ann (Bill) Isaac; his brother-in-law Bob (Marie) Gable; his sister-in-law Betty (Frank) Whitbeck; his niece Terri (Harry) White; and his two nephews William & Brian Issac. There will be a funeral service at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 22, 2016 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.
