Obituary of Dorothy E Ouram

Dorothy Elaine Ouram, age 85, of Erma, a life time Cape May County resident, passed away Friday, February 12, 2016 at her home. Dorothy was born February 3, 1931 at Hattie Long's Maternity Home in Wildwood, NJ; was raised in North Wildwood and moved to Erma in 1949. She was the daughter of Raymond F Gibbs and Jessie M Keller. Dorothy was formerly employed at Burdette Tomlin Hospital as a housekeeper in Maternity. She was one of the first elected Fire Commissioners for Lower Township and a former member of the Moose Lodge #1054. Dorothy was the wife of Dixon P Ouram who passed away in 1995. She is survived by her daughters: Janet (Jim) Kronemeyer of Cold Spring, NJ and Nancy (Bill) Gamber of Benton, LA. Also surviving are four grandsons: Jerry (Leslie) Kronemeyer of Erma, NJ; Jeffrey (Susan) Kronemeyer of Erma, NJ; Jason (Tricia) Kronemeyer of Cape May Court House, NJ; & Frank (Melissa) Sparano of Louisiana; seven great grandchildren: Emery, Jacob, Hadley, Marley, Drew, Justin, & Joseph Kronemeyer; and her beloved dog Toby. Her favorite pastimes were genealogy and Facebook. She was a very special lady and was loved by all. Dorothy always put others before herself. Family, past and present, was always her main concern.
