Connor Proud, age 12, of Villas passed away Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, PA. Connor was born June 11, 2003 in Somers Point, NJ. He is the son of Edward and Dawn (Kernaghan) Proud. He was a loving boy who was loved by everyone, especially his Big Little Sister and Brother. Connor had a great smile and if you would hear him laugh and see him smile, you could not have a bad day. He was a very brave and strong young man. Connor is survived by his parents; his brother Eddie Proud, Jr.; and his sister Avery Proud. Also surviving are: his paternal grandmother Deborah (nee Walker) Proud, maternal grandfather Walter (Michelle) Kernaghan, and his maternal grandmother Debbie Scaltrito and "Poppy" Ray Scaltrito, "Mom Mom" Carolyn Fuchs, aunts & uncles, and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Edward Proud and his aunt Pammy Proud. There will be a funeral service at 12:00 PM, Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 10:00 to 12:00. Interment will be private.
