Obituary of Claire M Hennessy

Claire M Hennessy, age 87, of Erma died Thursday, January 7, 2016 at the Cape Regional Med. Center with her loving family by her side. Claire was born December 24, 1928 in Philadelphia, PA. She is the daughter of the late Bryan and Mary (McMurty) McGonigal. Claire had been a Cape May area resident since the 1970's. She enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren..She was a "beautiful soul" with a great sense of humor and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, John J Hennessy (1996). Claire was a devoted mother to: Michael (Fran) Hennessy; three daughters: Teresa (Craig) Palumbo , Barbara (Charles) Birk, and Claire (John) Eisenmann . ; She also leaves ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 am on Monday, January 11, 2016 at St John Neumann Parish/St Raymond's RC Church, Bayshore Rd And Ocean Avenue, Villas, NJ . A visitation will be held on Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 am at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Road, North Cape May, NJ.
