Helen F Priggemeier, age 98, of North Cape May passed away peacefully Monday, January 4, 2016 at North Cape Center. Helen was born July 8, 1917 in Philadelphia, PA; formerly lived in Mt Ephraim, NJ; and has been a Cape May area resident since 1978. She is the daughter of the late William and Anna (Krogman) Niemeyer. Helen was a former member of the Eastern Star of Collingswood, NJ and a current member of the Cape May United Methodist Church. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Priggemeier Jr. in 2006, her sister Margaret Erb, and her brother William A Niemeyer, Jr. Helen is survived by one daughter: Harriet (Robert) Fortescue of Red Bank, NJ; two grandchildren: Robert E & Jeffrey Fortescue; and two great-grandchildren: Ryan & Chase Fortescue. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Contributions in Helen's memory may be made to the Cape May United Methodist Church, 635 Washington St, Cape May, NJ 08204.
