Kathi A. (nee McFadden) McLaughlin, age 64, of North Cape May passed away Sunday, December 13, 2015 due to complications of leukemia at Cooper Medical Center of Camden, NJ. Kathi was born in Darby, PA; formerly lived in Delaware County, PA; and has been a Cape May area resident for 31 years. She was the manager of the Carroll Villa Hotel in Cape May for 22 years. Kathi enjoyed traveling, having toured Ireland, Amsterdam, and Normandy France. She loved lighthouses and was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan. Kathi was preceded in death by her father Lawrence McFadden and her brother James McFadden. She is survived by her two children: Christopher McLaughlin (Mia Starrett) & Kacie McLaughlin; and her mother Lois McFadden. Also surviving are her brother Lawrence (Marie) McFadden, Jr.; her sister Susan (Donald) Graf; three grandchildren: Shaylynn & Brogan Malmgren & Jack Starrett; many nieces & nephews; and her best friends: Patti Manual & Pam Huber. There will be a Memorial Service at 10:00 AM on Monday, December 21, 2015 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 9:00 to 10:00 AM.
