William C. Brunell, age 82, of Erma passed away Sunday, November 29, 2015 at NJ Veterans Memorial Home of Vineland, NJ. William was born October 21, 1933 in Pitman, NJ. He is the son of the late Edward and Myrtle (nee Lindoefer) Brunell. William was a life-long Cape May area resident and previously resided in Wildwood. He served in the US Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was a self employed commercial clammer and crabber. William enjoyed metal detecting, panning for gold, and Nascar. He was a former Exalted Ruler for the Elks of North Wildwood; a member of Knights of Columbus, Erma Council #3546; the Moose Lodge in Erma; VFW of Wildwood, and the Masonic Lodge in Wildwood Crest. William is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years: Edythe Mae (nee Garrigues) Brunell; his children: Debbie (Bruce) Hatz, William C. Brunell Jr, Frank (Kathy) Clark, Paul (Debra) Clark, and Randy (Mary Beth) Clark. Also surviving are his brother Donald (Fay) Brunell; his sister Evelyn Kline; 9 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be Private.
