Albert J. Pekula, age 60, of North Cape May passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at his home. Albert was born in Somerville, NJ; formerly lived in Hillsborough, NJ; and has been a Cape May area resident for 4 years. He is the son of the late Albert W and Mary Pekula. Albert worked for the Lyons VA Hospital for over 30 years. He was an avid gardener, enjoyed playing golf, and was an accomplished Bass player. Albert is survived by his wife Andrea, his mother-in-law Clara Kelco, and sister-in-law JoAnn Kelco. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 30, 2015 at the Parish of St John Neumann, St John of God RC Church, 680 Townbank Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at St Mary's Cemetery, 1056 Seashore Rd, Cold Spring, NJ 08204. The family suggests donations in Albert's memory to the Love of Linda cancer Fund, PO Box 1053, Wildwood, NJ 08260 or St John of God RC Church.
