Obituary of Larraine M Ambrose

Larraine M. Ambrose (nee Warburton), age 82, of North Cape May passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2013 at Victoria Manor after a long illness. Larraine was born September 20, 1930 in Paterson, NJ. She lived and raised her family in Hawthorne, NJ until retiring to Whiting NJ. She was an avid knitter, and reader, and loved to dance and listen to Big Band music. Larraine was a top league bowler at Peerless Lanes for many years. She was a member of the Riverside Vets in Paterson, NJ and St Anthony's RC Church in Hawthorne, NJ. Larraine spent most of her career as a bookkeeper. She is survived by her husband of 62 years Michael Ambrose; her son Michael (Nancy) Ambrose of Rio Grande; her daughter Barbara (Donald) Miller of Hamilton Square, NJ; and her daughter Lynne Ambrose of Punta Gorda, FL. Larraine also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Matthew (Jenna) Ambrose, Michelle Van Dyk, & Melissa Forshay; and two great grandsons Jack & Kaleb Ambrose. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter Brooke Forshay and her brother Harry Warburton. There will be a funeral service at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 26, 2013 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.
