Lawrence M Cullen, age 88, of Cape May City passed away peacefully at home on Friday, April 19, 2013 . Lawrence was born in Passaic, NJ, and has been a Cape May area resident since 1985. He served his country in the US Navy during World War II as a 1st Class Seaman on the USS Canberra. Lawrence was a member of the Cape May VFW, attended St John of God RC Church, enjoyed traveling, and attending Naval reunions. He is survived by his wife Mary (nee Dunn) Cullen; his three daughters: Kathleen (Cullen) Jepson, Dianne (Paul) Kazimir, and Linda (Ed) Weinberg; his 6 grandchildren; his 10 great grandchildren; his sister-in-law Kay Andrews; and his special friend ("adopted son") Demetri Limarenka. He will also be sadly missed by his black lab Noah. There will be a graveside service at 11:30 Am on Friday, April 26, 2013 at Cape May County Veteran's Cemetery, 127 Crest Haven Rd, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.
