Sarah M Ciocco, age 93, of Villas, NJ passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 20, 2013. Sarah was born December 7, 1919 in Philadelphia, PA.; and has been a Cape May area resident since 1982. Sarah was a retired operator for Bell Telephone in Philadelphia, PA. She was a past president of the Marians Knights of Columbus Stella Maris Council of Erma, and an honorary member of the South Philadelphia String Band. Sarah's zest for life included traveling, casino trips, Philly sports, playing cards, and family time and holidays. She was preceded in death by her husband Louis Ciocco; her daughter Barbara Mary Zelinski; her son Louis Ciocco; a granddaughter Cindy Carr Sidorowicz; and her companion James Murray. Sarah is survived by her grandchildren: Ronald A Zelinski (Desire), Barbara McGowan (Ken), & John Zelinski (Paula);Tommy Carr (Dolly) and a daughter-in-law Barbara Ciocco her great grandchildren: Ronald, Missy, Joe, & Brock; and her great-great grandson Shaun. There will be a funeral service at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 9:00 to 11:00 AM.
