Obituary of Patricia Ann Weinert

Patricia A. Weinert, age 71, of Cape May passed away peacefully in her sleep Thursday, August 13, 2015 at her home. Patricia was born in Philadelphia, was formerly of Somerset, NJ, and has been a Cape May area resident since 1989. She was a retired Physical Education Teacher for the Franklin Township Board of Education in Somerset, NJ; where she taught for over 40 years and coached field hockey, swimming, basketball and other sports for 36 years. Pat enjoyed traveling, reading, spending time with her grandchildren, and spending time with her pets. She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur & Helen Weinert. Pat is survived by her daughters: Victoria Ann Weinert of Cape May and Danielle & son-in-law Kelly Casey of Vicenza, Italy. Also surviving are her sister Helen R Heller and two grandchildren: Dakota James Weinert & Andrew S Casey. There will be a memorial service scheduled for a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested in Pat's honor for her beloved grandson Dakota's college fund at 14 Canterbury Way, Cape May, NJ 08204.
