Obituary of Fred J Camilli

Fred J Camilli, age 97, of North Cape May passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at his home. Fred was born October 5, 1917 in Philadelphia, PA and has been a Cape May area resident since 1979. He is the son of the late Daniel and the late Josephine (Piselli) Camilli. Fred was predeceased by his wife, Rose (nee Ferrante) in 2014. He served his country in the US Army during World War II. After the war, Fred became a taxi driver for Yellow Cab in Philadelphia until his retirement. He is survived by one son: Lawrence Camilli of North Cape May, NJ; one brother: Lewis Camilli of West Chester, PA; and nephews: Guy Verdi & Michael Verdi. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM on Monday, July 20 at Parish of St John Neumann, St John of God RC Church, 680 Townbank Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Cape May County Veteran's Cemetery, 127 Crest Haven Rd, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.
