Obituary of Guillermo M Payad

Guillermo "Me Moy" M. Payad, age 92, of North Cape May, NJ passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on June 4, 2015 at Victoria Manor Nursing Home. Guillermo was born June 25, 1922 in San Ferando, Pampanga, Phillipines. He and his wife joined his son, Mayorico and his family in San Diego, CA in 1981, later moving to North Cape May, NJ in 1985 to join his son Wilfredo and his family. He was employed by the Lower Township Board of Education until retirement. Guillermo was preceded in death by his wife Rachel D.S.M. Payad in 1996; son Mayorico Payad; son Gil Payad; daughter Florinda Payad; and daughter-in-law Angela M. Payad. He is survived by his son Wilfredo Payad of Cold Spring, NJ; his daughter Medalla (Marcelino) Santos of Tinton Falls, NJ; his daughter Magdalena (Carlos) Manalang; and his son Raul Payad of the Philipines; and daughter-in-laws Mercedes Payad of San Diego, CA and Debra Payad of North Cape May, NJ. Also surviving are: his sister Anatolia of the Philipines, several grandchildren, and many great grandchildren. Respects can be paid at the viewing from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Monday, June 8, 2015 and again from 9:30 to 10:30 AM on Tuesday June 9, 2015 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 9, 2015 at the Parish of St John Neumann, St John of God RC Church, 680 Townbank Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204.
