Larraine M. Carp, age 69, of North Cape May passed away Thursday, June 4, 2015 at Cape Regional Medical Center. Larraine was born July 28, 1945 in Philadelphia, PA; formerly lived in Northeast Philadelphia and Bucks County, PA; and has been a Cape May area resident since 2008. She is the daughter of the late Albert J. and the late Mary Frances (Buck) Carp Jr. Larraine was a Nursing Assistant at New Seasons of New Britain Nursing Home in Chalfont, PA. She was a member of the Board of Directors of Health Center #10 in Philadelphia, the Democratic Club of Cape May County, the US Sea Cadets of Philadelphia, the Red Hat Society, and was very active with the Democratic Party in Philadelphia. Larraine is survived by her sons: Harry A. Mitchell III of Souderton, PA; & James Mitchell of Bensalem, PA; her brother Albert Joseph Carp of Fairless Hills, PA; and her sister Maryanne White of Del Haven, NJ. Also surviving are 3 grandchildren: Baley, Kailie, & Alecsa. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
